A python weighing 58 kilos is released into U Minh Thuong National Park.

24 animals include turtles, snakes, felines and birds have just been released into the wild. Among those, there is a python which weighs 58 kilos and is four metres long.

The animals were voluntarily handed over by some local households. After being taken care of, they were released into U Minh Thuong National Park.

Earlier, the HCM City Forest Protection Department and the Dong Nai Culture and Nature Reserve released 41 wild animals into U Minh Thuong National Park. They included macaques, civets, pythons, wildcats, tortoises, pig-tailed monkeys and red-faced monkeys.
