The routes, with a total length of 183 kilometres, would have 148 stations.

HCM City has set a target of finishing the construction of two metro projects, totalling 31 kilometres, by 2030. The total investment capital for the two projects is VND91 trillion.
HCM City is expected to build 351 kilometres of metro by 2025, and the figure will be raised to 510 kilometres.
Most of the metro projects’ investment capital is expected to be sourced from the state budget.
Meanwhile, Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien, the first metro project in HCM City, is almost completed.
HCM City has accelerated many infrastructure projects to put them into operation soon.
