As many as 24 businesses have committed more than VND27.5 billion (USD1.31 million) to the 2012 Danang International Fireworks Competition.
The competition, themed ‘The colour of Danang’ will take place on April 29-30 with the participation of teams from Canada (competition winners in 2008), China (2009), France (2010), Italy (2011), and the hosts Danang.
Related cultural and sporting events, including a culinary festival, a fashion show and a music programme, will also be held as part of the DIFC.
A stand for spectators will be constructed, with sections A and B at the main stage providing more than 9,000 seats, and section C, nearly 16,000 seats.
DIFC organizing board will sell about 16,000 tickets, with prices ranging from VND200,000-VND300,000 per person per night, from outlets in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang.
