Vietnam dropped six places in the International Football Federation\'s (FIFA) June rankings and now languish in 140th place.

It represents Vietnam\'s lowest world placing since 2008.
However, the team remain confident their rating will improve next month after yesterday\'s 6-0 victory against Macau in the 2014 World Cup qualifying round.
In Southeast Asia, Vietnam remain in third place as other countries in the region have also dropped in the global rankings.
Thailand are the top team in Southeast Asia, and lie 123rd in the world after dropping down three places. Indonesia are second in the region and 132nd in the world, after slipping two spots. Meanwhile, Singapore and Malaysia are fourth and fifth, respectively.
The next rankings will be released on July 27.
