Vice NA Chairwoman chairs preparatory meeting for IPU

According to a report from the IPU organisation board, specific plans for the event have already been finalized such as staff, expenses, media facilities, healthcare and measures to ensure excellent food safety and hygiene.

Vice Director of the NA Committee for External Affairs Ha Huy Thong briefed particpants on the results of his working visit with the IPU Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, to discuss preparations for the 132^nd General Assembly of the IPU.

Sub-committee for information and communication have devised a media protocol to spread information to NA deputies and the public about the significance of the event as well as promote the Vietnamese image to international friends.

In her statement, Phong described the organisation of the IPU-132 as an important diplomatic event of the 13^th Vietnamese legislature.

She also asked all sub-committees to coordinate closely with relevant agencies to make thorough preparations for the conference to ensure its success.
