The incident occurred early this morning, October 31, on National Highway 1A which runs through Huu Lung District’s Hoa Lac Commune.

The 16-seat car was transporting a group of people to Hanoi when it collided with the tractor-trailer carrying cement. As a result, four passengers died on the spot, while another died while being taken to hospital.
All of the victims were from Ha Long City in the northern province of Quang Ninh.
Nine others who were injured in the accident are being treated at Chi Lang Hospital in Lang Son and Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi.
