According to a report from Bac Quang Town People's Committee, the accident occurred on the National Road 2 at 7.20pm when two motorbikes carrying three young people each crashed into each other from opposite directions.
"The strong crash left two people aged 23 and 13 dead on the spot," the report said. "Another 14-year-old teenager also died shortly after being brought to hospital due to serious injuries. Three other young men were still being treated at local hospitals with critical conditions."
Security cameras at the area showed that the road was quiet and both two motorbikes were speeding before colliding into each other.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
