The Military Command of the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong recovers the remains of eight war dead from a pepper farm on April 7

The remains were discovered on April 6 by some local farmers who then reported the find to local authorities. During their excavation of the remains, authorities found many items including wallets, hammocks, and raincoats among their belongings.

Initial investigations showed that the remains were of soldiers in the southern region who died between 1972-1974.

Dak Nong Military Command are still searching surrounding areas until the end of April 8.

Earlier on April 4, the Military Command of the southern province of Binh Phuoc discovered the remains of seven war dead in Binh Long Town. The search unit also found 13 sets of remains of fallen soldiers in the town from March 16-24.

None of the remains have been identified so far.
