Prestigious TSIA recognition marks a first for HP in the region

Giant technology company HP earns a certificate for excellent service operation from the Technology Services Industry Association.

Giant technology company HP has just earned a certificate for excellent service operation from the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA).

HP received this recognition for providing superior technical support and services for its notebook and business desktop PCs in Asia Pacific and Japan. This is a first for HP in the region, and the company is also the first PC manufacturer to receive this coveted industry recognition in 2010.

“With industry best practices that include staffing management process, support marketing and global knowledge bases, HP in Asia Pacific and Japan is to be commended for keeping their focus on support,” said Joanne Weigel, senior director, Organizational Certification Programs, TSIA.

TSIA certification comprises a comprehensive evaluation of phone, field service and web service operations for customers. Auditors from TSIA closely review management policies and procedures. HP support operations were compared against nearly 300 industry best practices, including executive commitment, talent management, support tools and technology, and operation metrics. The rigorous onsite and surveillance audit process was conducted by a panel of seasoned service executives with more than 20 years of experience.

“This prestigious industry validation is a testament to HP’s commitment to continually improving customer experiences across Asia Pacific and Japan,” said Karthikeyan Srinivasan, Vice President of HP Personal Systems Group in Asia Pacific and Japan.
