During the stay, PM Dung and host leaders will hold discussions on concrete steps to strengthen Vietnam – Cuba ties, including in economics, trade and investment. They will also talk about regional and global issues of shared interest.
Upon his arrival, the cabinet leader laid a wreath at a memorial dedicated to Cuban national hero Jose Marti.
Since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties in 1960, Vietnam and Cuba have strengthened mutual solidarity and all-around cooperation, especially through the regular exchange of high-level visits.
They have also maintained the working mechanism of the annual Inter-Governmental Committee.
