
Rescue forces search for the victims on April 5
This was the third victim of the crash found, while rescue forces are still trying to search for the other two.
The Bell-505 helicopter which belongs to the state-owned Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company took off from Tuan Chau Island in Quang Ninh Province at 4:56pm and lost contact at 5:15pm on April 5 while carrying four Vietnamese tourists on a sightseeing tour of Ha Long Bay from above. The helicopter was piloted by Colonel Chu Quang Minh, 59.
Right after the helicopter lost contact, the Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company immediately coordinated with the local border guard and military forces to urgently deploy search and rescue operations.
The first two bodies were recovered at 7.18pm while the forces also found some debris of the helicopter at the edge of the shore.

On Wednesday night, hundreds of people and dozens of vehicles searched for the remaining two missing people in the bordering waters between Lan Ha Bay of Hai Phong and Ha Long Bay of Quang Ninh.
The helicopter has been used for Ha Long Bay helicopter tours since 2019.
According to local authorities, the four tourists included three women and a man aged between 59-65 and came from Danang City.
