Traffic has resumed on D’ran Pass linking Dalat and Khanh Hoa Province from December 11
As landslide repairs are still under way, authorities advised drivers to limit travel at night and during heavy rain, and to slow down and follow warning signs and diversions at active construction points.
The 10-km D’ran Pass, located on National Highway 20, features numerous sharp bends and connects Dalat’s urban area with the Song Pha Pass on National Highway 27, forming the Dalat-Phan Rang route.
The pass was blocked on October 28 after prolonged heavy rain caused a high talus slope near Cau Xeo to collapse onto the roadway, bringing traffic to a standstill.
