The northeast and northwest are expected to experience showers and thunderstorms mainly in the morning, late afternoon and at night. Rainfall on Saturday is forecast at 10-30 mm, with some areas receiving more than 70 mm.

Mountainous areas are likely to see heavy to very heavy rain in the coming days, accompanied by risks of lightning, hail and strong winds.
Hanoi is forecast to have sunny spells during the day before showers and thunderstorms develop in the late afternoon and evening. Temperatures are expected to range from 25-27 degrees Celsius overnight to 31-33 degrees during the day.
Further south, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An are expected to see slightly cooler conditions, with highs of 35-36 degrees Celsius and scattered evening thunderstorms.
From Ha Tinh to the former Phu Yen Province, hot to severe hot weather will persist, with daytime temperatures of 35-38 degrees Celsius and some areas exceeding 38 degrees. The heatwave is forecast to ease gradually from June 29-30.
The Central Highlands and southern Vietnam are expected to see sunny weather followed by scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with isolated heavy rain.
