Accordingly, on December 4, 2014, Doan Xuan Hoa from the Bo Trach district was

discovered transporting a dead wild animal weighing 8 kilogramme and was unable to produce any documentation proving a legitimate or lawful origin for the animal.

On November 7, 2014, the park’s forest management station issued a decision requesting the provincial forest ranger department to examine and determine the name and species of the seized animal.

The animal was found to be a Ha Tinh langur (Trachypithecus hatinhensis) - an endangered primate species included in Vietnam's red book.

Earlier, another case of illegal transportation of wild animals was discovered in the park last August, after 10 desiccated red-shanked douc langurs, one red-faced monkey, and one white-cheeked gibbon were seized.
