A large bomb has just been found by a family in the central highlands province of Lam Dong when constructing the foundation of their house.

The MK82 bomb which was left from the American war weighs around 340 kilos, measures 1.18 metres and 40 centimetres in diameter. The bomb damage radius can reach 500-700 metres.
The bomb was found by a family in Ngo Quyen District in Da Lat City while constructing the foundation of their house.
Local authorities have removed the bomb out of the community area and will deactivate it on Wednesday. It is the largest bomb ever found in the area according to local officials.
