226 Vietnamese nationals return from Cambodia.
The Vietnamese returnees had all been tricked into jobs in Cambodia's Preah Sihanouk Province and had managed to escape and were held by local police and then handed over to Vietnamese authorities.
A day earlier, authorities in Long An Province also received 34 local people returning from Cambodia.
The 28 men and six women, were handed over by police from Cambodia's Svay Rieng Province. The returnees are having their personal information verified and completing related procedures.
On September 19, Cambodian authorities repatriated 92 Vietnamese to Tay Ninh Province via Moc Bai International Border Gate. The group included 71 workers who fled or were rescued from the Lucky 88 Casino in Cambodia's Bavet City, along with 21 other Vietnamese who were working without permits in the country.
