Every weekend, members of the group will display more than 500 books arranged in groups such as education, psychology, economics, skill and novel together with many different types of newspapers and magazines.

At the book displaying area which the group calls an "open library" lasting to 6pm every weekend day, anyone can choose their favorite books to read on the spot without having to pay any fee.

"I'm living away from home and I have to depend on the small money my parents give me every month, so it’s helpful to read free books here,” Truong Thanh Dung, a third year student from Hue University of Science shared.

“Through the library, we want to bring the culture of reading close to everybody,” Truong Xuan, manager of the library said.

Not only sharing books, through the open library, Bup Sen Hong also receives book donations then delivers them to local disadvantaged children via their project titled “Tu Sach Vi Cong Dong” (Bookcase for The Community).

“Thanks to Bup Sen Hong, we can give those kids books and bring them a little joy,” Thao Nguyen, a book donor said.

Moreover, the group is planning to work with local schools to involve students in book donations and increase the number of books for disadvantaged kids.
