Large posters carrying the congress messages have been installed along central streets such as Le Duan, Nguyen Du and Alexandre de Rhodes.

Electronic billboards at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street and around Notre Dame Cathedral display concise slogans, while coordinated visual campaigns have been rolled out across public spaces.

By night, the city centre is illuminated in the colours of the national flag, with buildings and main roads lit up to reinforce the celebratory mood.

Even alleys are filled with a festive atmosphere in the run-up to the congress.

The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is scheduled to take place in Hanoi from January 19 to 25.
