The Sa Ky-Ly Son boat service
Many localities in Vietnam’s central region, including Quang Ngai, are struggling with heavy rains. In the next 24 hours, Ly Son Island would continue experiencing rain with strong winds. To ensure safety, Quang Ngai Port Management and Inland Waterway Port Authority have called for the halting of the Sa Ky-Ly Son speedboat service.
The route currently runs four times daily, using eight high-speed boats.
The Sa Ky-Ly Son high-speed boat service was launched in July. Each boat can carry nearly 300 passengers and complete the route in just 35 minutes.
