According to the HCM City Department of Tourism, by July 8, as many as 16 hotels in HCM City had registered to provide discounted room rates for visitors taking Vietnam Airlines night flights.

Hotels will reduce room prices by 20-100 percent for the first night. From the second night, rates will follow the listed prices or be slashed by 60 percent.
Dong Khanh Hotel offers a 100-percent discount on the first night's stay and applies regular rates from the second night. The Myst Dong Khoi Hotel provides a 49-percent discount on the first night and a 53-percent discount on the second.
Muong Thanh Luxury Saigon offers a 45-percent discount on the first night and 50 percent for the Liberty Central Saigon Hotel chain.
Vietnamese airlines have actively run flight nights to serve the travel demand during the peak summer season. However, despite cheaper prices, many passengers have shown little interest in night flights.
