Co.op Mart and Co.opXtra offer 15–20 percent discounts on daily essentials and up to 50 percent off a wide range of packaged foods, household goods, clothing, and Co.op-branded products for online purchases.
WinMart has introduced up to 50 percent discounts on essential goods, processed foods, and personal care products. Meanwhile, Big C and Tops Market are offering price cuts on more than 1,000 critical consumer products, with some discounts reaching as high as 50 percent, including a variety of Vietnamese agricultural goods.
Amid the early pickup in consumer demand, retailers expect a 20-30 percent rise in sales during this year’s holiday.
Many major fashion brands are unveiling big discounts. Adidas offers 30-50 percent off all products, while An Phuoc provides a 15 percent promotion.
HCM City is expected to welcome many visitors during the Reunification Day-May Day holiday. A series of festive activities, including a grand military parade on April 30, are planned.
