From April 24 to 26, the Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) and the China Electricity Council (CEC) will co-host the Vietnam – China – ASEAN Energy Expo 2025 (VCAE EXPO 2025) and the Vietnam – China – ASEAN International Energy Forum 2025 (VCAE IF 2025) at the Hanoi International Exhibition Centre.

The event will feature a series of specialized exhibitions, including the Green Energy Technology, Power Equipment, Optical Charging & Storage Systems, and Vietnam International Lighting Exhibition (VIEEXPO 2025), as well as the Vietnam International Electric Vehicle Industry Exhibition (EV VIETNAM 2025). The opening ceremony is scheduled for 9:00 a.m on April 24.

With the theme highlighting cooperation and development in the power industry and green energy in Vietnam, China and ASEAN for mutual benefit and low-carbon emissions, the event serves as a platform for regional enterprises to exchange technological solutions and innovations in the energy sector. Leading brands will showcase cutting-edge products and technologies in power and green energy.

The exhibition will also include the signing of memorandums of understanding (MOUs) between VEA, CEC, and major energy corporations and businesses from Vietnam, China, and ASEAN member states.

The VCAE IF 2025 Forum will open at 1:30 p.m on April 24, featuring representatives from energy ministries, embassies, and major enterprises across ASEAN. Key topics include opportunities to promote clean and cleaner energy technologies, challenges related to policies, pricing mechanisms, investment costs, and infrastructure, as well as green finance and carbon credit frameworks in the energy transition.

The forum aims to provide policy recommendations based on scientific and practical insights, helping ensure national energy security while fulfilling Vietnam’s international commitments to combat climate change. It also offers a vital networking and knowledge-sharing opportunity for top experts, producers, and distributors in the energy sector.
