According to the Binh Dong Ward People’s Committee, the blaze broke out at a shoe shop shortly after 1 am and quickly spread to three neighbouring houses.
Police and firefighters mobilised 84 personnel and 14 specialised vehicles to the scene. Residents were guided to safety through emergency exits at the rear of the buildings.
The ground floors of the affected houses were used as shoe and fabric hat shops, allowing the fire to spread rapidly.
The fire was brought under control at around 2.40 am. While no one was injured, all four houses were completely destroyed.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
