The information was announced at a tourism promotion programme held by Danang in Manila today, October 23. The event saw the participation of representatives from 14 Vietnamese travel firms and 150 Filipino businesses.

The air route will be operated by the Philippines’ airlines Cebu Pacific Air with three flights per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The first flight will be conducted on December 7.
According to Cebu Pacific Air, the air route is expected to help the Philippines to attract more tourists from the central region of Vietnam.
Besides the Philippines, Danang will organise tourism promotion activities in Malaysia and Singapore from October to November this year.
The rate of Filipino people who travelled abroad increased by 160 percent in 2022. So, the Manila-Danang air route could increase the number of Filipino travellers to Danang City in the coming time.
