The southern province of Dong Nai’s authorities have agreed to build three bridges linking HCM City.

The southern province of Dong Nai’s authorities have agreed to build three bridges linking HCM City.

The six-lane bridge linking Thu Duc City and Tam An Commune in Long Thanh will be invested in the 2026-2030 period.

The second bridge, to replace the current Cat Lai ferry, will be built by 2025.

The third that will link the south of HCM City and Nhon Trach District or Phu My 2 Bridge will be built between 2026 and 2030 with six lanes.

Dong Nai and HCM City are currently connected through national highways 1 and 1K and HCM City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Highway. These routes are overloaded.

The Phuoc Khanh Bridge on Ben Luc-Long Thanh Highway and Nhon Trach Bridge on Belt Road 3 are still under construction.
