Early 2021, she fainted. Medical check-ups showed that she had developed third stage heart failure. So her only chance was a heart transplant.
After an article about her condition was published in the newspaper, many people supported her.
After the heart transplant, Thuy’s health has considerably improved. She no longer requires blood filtration, while the gastrointestinal infection has been controlled.
Of the total donation, VND512 million was donated through Dantri/DTiNews and the remainder was directly sent to the family.
