Authorities in Danang City are seeking investment in defence industry, aviation and high-tech sectors under a new list of priority projects for the 2026-2030 period.

The list, signed by vice chairman Tran Chi Cuong, includes 219 projects spanning sectors such as education, healthcare, urban infrastructure, science and technology, IT, trade, logistics, tourism and high-tech agriculture.
In education, five projects focus on high-quality training institutions, including international bilingual schools, universities and new kindergarten, primary and secondary schools.
Healthcare proposals include high-quality general and specialised hospitals, international diagnostic and treatment centres and nursing homes. Key projects feature a cardiovascular and stroke hospital and a modern diagnostic centre.
Urban development projects include an international financial centre in Hai Chau and the Bach Dang-Nguyen Van Troi-Tran Hung Dao pedestrian street, along with a botanical garden aimed at boosting urban development and tourism.
Technology and IT proposals include regional data centres and manufacturing plants producing semiconductors, robotics, aerospace and defence-related products, with planned investment of USD 10-15 million per hectare.
Tourism projects include the 463-hectare Son Vien hot spring resort complex, a 1,000-1,500-hectare horse-racing track in Hoa Vang and several 18-27-hole golf courses.
Additional proposals involve innovation centres, science parks and creative spaces designed to support the city’s technology and start-up ecosystem, alongside large commercial centres, wholesale markets and service complexes.
The Danang People’s Committee has tasked the Danang Department of Finance with coordinating with relevant agencies to publish project information and guide investors through investment procedures.
