Various rubbish was washed ashore, including plastic bags and bottles, discarded syringes, and tree branches.

A local resident reported that since early this morning, October 28, many environmental workers have been dispatched to the beach for clean-up efforts; however, due to the overwhelming amount of waste, only a small portion of the work has been completed.

Tran Cho, head of the Thanh Khe Environmental Unit, admitted the enormous amount of waste after Storm Trami, adding that the clean-up work on Nguyen Tat Thanh Beach is expected to be completed within one week.
