The crocodiles have been installed with tracking chips after being sent to the eco-tourist site.

The 100-square metre facility where the crocodiles were kept has been removed.

Vinh City Central Park covers 26 hectares in Le Mao Ward. It was open to visitors in 2005. In 2007, the park bought 10 crocodiles as part of their attractions.

In 2019, the park wanted to release the crocodiles into the wild but was turned down by local authorities. After that, the authorities contacted wild animal centres but none wanted to receive the crocodiles, so the animals remained at the park.

However, the park has seriously deteriorated. The fence of the crocodile breeding area has become rusty and damaged.

The park then decided to transfer the crocodiles to a local eco-tourist site.
