
On Monday morning, many streets in Danang City including Ton Duc Thang, Bac Son, and Le Duan faced serious congestion due to the flooding.

People had difficulty travelling on the flooded road near the Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone in Danang.
According to the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, heavy rains have occurred in many areas including Hue City over the past six hours with average rainfall of between 85.2mm - 134.6mm.

The committee has issued warnings of flash floods in riverside areas in some districts of Phong Dien, A Luoi, Phu Loc, and Nam Dong.

Thua Thien-Hue authorities have also called for boats operating at sea to immediately seek safe havens to avoid heavy rains and strong winds. Boats have also been banned from going to sea from Monday morning.
The heavy rains which are caused by effects of a low tropical pressure are forecasted to spread to the whole central and northern central region for several more days.
