Tangled webs of cables have made a mess all over the streets of Hue City, disrupting locals and tourists alike.
As observed by DTiNews on July 13, nearly 10 days after inspection on the removal of telecommunication and TV cables in the city had been finished, cables were still spread about along 10 roads, hanging over power poles and scattered on sidewalks.
The People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province hopes to have all of the cables in all urban areas buried underground before December 31, 2010.
