The information was given on September 21 by the Binh Duong People’s Committee when discussing the province planning until 2045.

Previously, at a meeting on September 19, Secretary of the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi also proposed planning a military airport towards dual use in Dau Tieng District.

According to Loi, Binh Duong province will add to the planning a dual-use airport with an area of about 200 hectares in Dinh An Commune which will facilitate economic development and ensure national security and defense in the coming years.

Covering an area of 71.92 square metres, Dinh An commune is home to Dot Champa eco-tourism area. Currently, there are no apartment projects or commercial centres in this area. In addition, the Suoi Truc tourist attraction, the Cau Mountain pilgrimage site, and the Dau Tieng lake tourist site are all located near the border of Dinh An commune.
