A worker saw the 1.5-metre long bomb while driving an excavator in an area being cleared for construction of a bridge in Da P’Loa Commune.
The bomb weighs around 600 kilos
Local authorities immediately cordoned off the area from surrounding households.
The military will use a controlled explosion to detonate the bomb.
A 250-kilo bomb was also discovered at a construction site in Da Huoai District earlier this year.
