The event, themed ‘Made in Unity’, is slated to take place from June 8 - July 13 with eight participating teams, including seven international teams from France, Italy, the USA, Germany, Poland, China and Finland, and the Danang-Vietnam team.

The participating teams will compete in five competition nights, including four qualifying nights and a final night.

According to organisers, the DIFF 2024 stage is 1,260 square metres this year, around 20 percent larger than last year’s event.

The LED screen has been upgraded along with transparent grid technology to create special lighting effects.

Views from the riverbank have been improved compared to 2023, helping spectators to more easily enjoy performances.

The festival will be broadcast live at 8:10 pm on Vietnam Television's VTV1.
