Hanoi streets decorated for Liberation Day celebrations
Many streets in Hanoi have been brilliantly decorated with national flags, banners and flowers to mark the 70th anniversary of the capital city’s liberation (October 10).
The celebratory atmosphere is blanketing major inner-city streets such as Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Phan Dinh Phung, Le Hong Phong and Dien Bien Phu.
A large poster is placed right in the middle of Chi Linh Square in front of the headquarters of the State Bank of Vietnam.
Hanoi’s streets have turned red as the celebration of liberation day is nearing.
A poster is set up at Lenin Park.
A poster features the title of “City for Peace” awarded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
