
On Thursday evening, many streets in Hoi An were crowded, particularly areas around the Hoai River and Hoi An Park.



Many foreigners were keen on releasing lanterns on the Hoai River and capturing beautiful moments during this Mid-Autumn Festival.

Lion dance troupes paraded throughout Hoi An Town and wherever the lions went, spectators gathered.


Hoi An has held many interesting activities on for the Mid-Autumn Festival this year. The city organised a ceremony to welcome the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's recognition of Hoi An's Mid-Autumn Festival as a national intangible cultural heritage.
The Mid-Autumn Festival known as Tet Trung Thu is one of the biggest festivals in the country and it is traditionally held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.
