The restaurant has no name but is often called Au Trieu Restaurant by its regular customers.
Customers here often have to queue for a long time before being served. They would also have to arrange their own seats on the pavement when the restaurant is full.

The restaurant owner, Ngo Thi Phi Nga, said that she was the third generation to follow the family's trade.
"My grandfather opened a beef noodle soup restaurant over 80 years ago on Hai Ba Trung Street, which is now operated by my mother and sister," Nga said. "I opened this new restaurant in 1994 and has served the family's traditional dish."
The restaurant owner said that she didn't know about the Michelin awards until she was invited to come to the award ceremony on June 6. But then learning about this prestigious award, she was very happy that her family's traditional recipe was honoured.
"I helped my grandfather and father at our family's restaurant when I was small and I started to cook the dish myself when I was 17," she shared. "Now I'm still cooking the dish myself at my own restaurant. I had to close the restaurant on June 7 after returning from the ceremony late on June 6."

Nga said that her family's special recipe and quality ingredients have attracted customers.
"I'm still strictly following the recipe passed down by my grandfather," she said. "I always choose the best quality beef and noodles."
The prices for a bowl of beef noodle soup at the restaurant ranges from VND55,000-65,000.
A customer, Nguyen Van Ha, said that he has been a regular customer of the restaurant for the past three years.
"I immediately fell in love with the restaurant after my first time here," Ha said. "But I would only come here when I'm not busy as customers usually have to wait a long time. I see that the restaurant has become even more crowded after it was recognised by the Michelin Guide."
