The city will see 50-100 mm of rainfall until the morning of September 11. Some areas are predicted to struggle with 150 mm.

Strong gusts of wind and thunderstorms would occur during rain.
Rain would inundate many streets. Rain and rising floodwaters from the Red River could cause severe and prolonged flooding for low-lying areas along the river.
Hanoi was among the localities hardest hit by Typhoon Yagi, with four deaths and nearly 25,000 trees damaged.
