Sapa hotels fully booked during Tet holiday
Many hotels in the northern mountainous tourist city of Sapa have been fully booked during the Tet Lunar New Year holiday.

Reports from the Sapa Town Department of Culture and Information, hotels in the town centre had reservation rates of up to 97 percent between February 12-14. The town expects to welcome 65,000 visitors during February 12-13.
Many restaurants have reopened since February 11 to serve the rising number of tourists.
Two culture and spring festivals have just started on February 12 in Sapa, featuring various activities introducing the unique culture of the local ethnic Mong, Tay, Red Dao, Xa Pho, and Giay groups.
The month-long festival expects to attract more visitors to the town.
It is estimated that Sapa would welcome over 100,000 tourists during the Tet holiday, an increase of over 11,000 people compared to the same period last year.
