The opening ceremony will be held on the morning of September 12, featuring cultural performances and displays of local agricultural products and traditional handicrafts.

Visitors can also take part in cultural activities with the Ha Nhi community in Choan Then Village, while local products will be promoted through livestreaming during the festival.

A traditional costume event on September 11 will showcase clothing associated with the customs, daily life and handicrafts of local ethnic communities, including the H'Mong, Dao and Ha Nhi.

The Golden Season Y Ty Run will take place on September 6, with distances of 5 km, 20 km and 42 km. The routes will pass through terraced rice fields and mountain villages during the harvest season.

The first Lao Than mountain climbing event will be held on November 15. Rising 2,860 metres above sea level, Lao Than is a popular destination for trekking and viewing the area's mountain scenery and cloud formations.

The festival is intended to become an annual tourism event, using Y Ty's rice terraces, mountain landscapes and local culture to attract visitors.

Local authorities also expect the event to support community-based tourism and create opportunities for local agricultural products, handicrafts and tourism services.
