Model Ngoc Trinh, from the southern province of Tra Vinh, has become Miss Vietnam International 2011.

Trinh also won the Best in Swimsuit and Miss Asia titles while one of her friends, Phan Nhu Thao, finished in fourth place.
In the final held at the Carpenter Performing Arts Centre in California, Ngoc Trinh topped the Q&A session by telling the judges that her father was the most influential person in her life.
Ngoc Trinh also walked away with a USD30,000 cash prize.
Ngoc Trinh, born in 1990, took her first steps on the catwalk when she was 16. She won the Miss Photogenic prize at the 2005 Vietnam Super Model contest, and won the Miss Fashion pageant and the Best in Evening Gown prize at the Miss Jewellery contest in 2007.
Ngoc Trinh has developed a reputation in the Vietnamese fashion industry as the ‘Lingerie Queen’ and is often booked for bikini photo shoots.
Phan Nhu Thao, who hails from the southern province of Ca Mau, finished in the top ten at the Miss Vietnam World 2007 pageant. In 2008, Nhu Thao won the Potential Model Prize and Best Performing Super Model at the Super Model Contest.
