Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper co-operated with authorities in the Central Highlands Province of Kon Tum's Dak Ha District to start construction on Friday of two classrooms for the Kon Pao Ko La Primary School.
Located in a difficult area, the Kon Pao Ko La Primary School, which is a branch of the Dak Pxi Primary School, currently has 10 classrooms with 263 students. The school has faced a shortage of facilities while all the classrooms have badly deteriorated.
Thanks to donations from some readers, Dantri has decided to build two new classrooms for the school with total funding of over VND300 million.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, the school's headmaster, Nguyen Trung Dung, expressed his sincere thanks to Dantri and kind donors for their valuable support.
"Thank you so much for your help to build new classrooms for our teachers and students," he said. "This is a very meaningful gift which will help us improve teaching and studying quality."
Attending the event, Dantri's Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Nguyen Xuan Toan, said that he was delighted to see the happiness of teachers and students here when they are going to have new facilities.

"This is a great motivation for us to continue more such projects for difficult areas," Toan said. "In Kon Tum, we've built a bridge in Ngoc Hoi District and helped repair some schools that were damaged by storms and floods."
Speaking at the ceremony, vice chairman of Dak Ha District People's Committee, Pham Thi Thuong, shared that up to 92 percent of residents in Dak Pxi Commune belong to ethnic groups whose lives are very difficult.

"Due to the locality's limited budget, we've been unable to invest into all projects," the official said. "I want to send my sincere thanks to Dantri and all the kind donors for helping to build some projects in our area, including the classrooms for the Kon Pao Ko La Primary School."
