Retail fuel prices rise

Retail fuel prices were revised on February 13 by the finance, and industry and trade ministries.

Specifically, the price of E5RON95 biofuel increased by VND20 per litre to VND21,070, while RON92-III increased by VND150 per litre to VND20,590.

Diesel and kerosene were capped at VND19,070 and VND19,470VND per litre, respectively, up to VND20 and VND60 per litre.

Mazut oil rose by VND420 per kilo to VND17,770 per kilo.

The two ministries decided not to use the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund for this adjustment.

E5RON 95 prices have increased following three consecutive declines and are still at their lowest level over three years, equal to June 2021. Since the start of the year, RON 95 has seen four rises and three declines, while diesel has risen five times and dropped twice.
