At this time of every year, storks often fly to Ha Long Bay. Each flock includes tens of dozens of storks.

Ha Long Bay’s beauty becomes more peaceful with white stork flocks.

Storks usually fly close to the water surface to search for food such as shrimp, small fish, and other small aquatic creatures. They mostly appear at the bay in the early morning or late afternoon.

Nguyen Quynh Phuong, a student in Ha Long City, said that she was quite surprised by the birds at the bay.

The birds choose to rest on islands on the bay at night.

Besides seasonal migratory birds, the bay is also home to around 100 species of birds, of which 60 often live in forests and rocky mountains in areas such as the islands of Dau Go, Cat Lan, Hang Cham, Cong Do and Hang Trai.
