Representatives from Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO said they would provide millions of tickets on domestic and international flights for the Lunar New Year Festival which falls between January 6 and February 5 2023.
Airlines in Vietnam have started selling tickets for the 2023 Tet Lunar New Year
Tet tickets would be sold on the airline websites, official ticket agencies and mobile apps.
The airlines will focus on increasing flights linking Hanoi, Danang and HCM City with Haiphong, Vinh, Hue, Quy Nhon, Quang Nam, Da Lat, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc. Meanwhile, more international flights connecting Vietnam and Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, South Korea and Australia would also be provided.
According to Vietnam Airlines, its international flights for the 2023 Lunar New Year would be nearly double their usual level as countries and territories are loosening regulations.
Vietnam Airlines’ single business ticket costs from VND1.86 million to VND2.86 million, including taxes and surcharges. Single economy class tickets would range from VND785,000, including taxes and surcharges. However, passengers need to buy the tickets seven days before their departure.
