Vietnam tops ASEAN Youth Chess Championship

Vietnam has won the champion title at the 12th ASEAN Youth Chess Championship held in Indonesia.

Grabbing 51 golds, 21 silvers and 30 bronzes it surpassed the second runner-up, Indonesia with 17 golds, 25 silvers and 23 bronzes and the third team, the Philippines with 17 golds, 19 silvers and 25 bronzes.

Teaming with chess masters like Hoang Thi Nhu Y, Nguyen Thi Mai Hung, Vu Thi Dieu Ai and Tran Tuan Minh were Ngo Duc Tri, Tran Vuong Mai Khanh, Nguyen Huynh Minh Thien and Le Thi Nhu Quynh.
