Nine teams from Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and the host Vietnam will compete in the tournament.
According to the draw in March 2015, Vietnam is in group B along with Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore. The remaining five teams are listed in group A.
Vietnam team will gather on May 20 for a one-month training course before entering the competition.
