Present at the film screening in La Pagode on February 1 were Le Hong Chuong, Director of the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France, and many Overseas Vietnamese, French and international friends, including those from Canada, Belgium, Cambodia, Switzerland and Nigeria.
The film was introduced at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, and the 2010 Vancouver International Film Festival. It won a prize at the 2011 Asian Film Festival.
