Rescue forces are still searching for two children who went missing after being washed away by high waves at a beach in the central province of Nghe An late Sunday afternoon.

According to a report from local border guards, four children came to bathe at Dien Thanh Beach in Dien Chau District at 6pm on September 18. They were then washed away by high waves but two managed to swim to shore. Two others, aged 14 and 10, went missing.
A rescue team was sent to look for the missing children through the night but as of Monday morning, they remained missing.
