Tra Vinh calls investment into nine tourism projects

The southern province of Tra Vinh is calling for investment for nine tourism projects valued at VND4 trillion (USD172.41 million).

The southern province of Tra Vinh is calling for investment for nine tourism projects valued at VND4 trillion (USD172.41 million).

The largest project is the 368-hectare Ba Dong mangrove forest eco-tourist site in Duyen Hai Town which has a total investment of VND1.7 trillion (USD73.27 million). It includes food and entertainment services, hotels, beaches and underwater sports.

It is followed by Duyen Hai hot mineral spring project worth VND600 billion and Ba Dong Beach eco-tourist site worth VND500 billion.

Other projects include Cu Lao Long Tri eco-tourism project in Long Duc Commune with a total investment of VND300 billion, Cu Lao Tan Qui ecotourism project with VND250 billion, Hang Duong eco-tourist project, Ao Ba Om cultural and spiritual tourism project and Khmer cultural and tourism village.

The province is also seeking investment for three four-five-star hotels with each worth VND300 billion.

The community-based and eco-tourism development is among the province’s prioritised investment areas. Tra Vinh will offer corporate income tax discounts for investors.
